Talks to resume between party leaders in Zimbabwe

Canada News.Net
Tuesday 8th July, 2008

President Robert Mugabe's ruling party and Zimbabwe's Opposition are set to resume talks to resolve the country's political crisis.

Zimbabwean media has reported that the Opposition Movement for Democratic Change has agreed to the resumption of negotiations with the ruling ZANU-PF under the mediation of South African President Thabo Mbeki.

Tendai Biti, a senior MDC official, would neither confirm nor deny the report, but Zimbabwean Justice Minister Patrick Chinamasa provided the details.

MDC Leader Morgan Tsvangirai has said the Opposition will not participate in any negotiations until Mr Mugabe's government accepts his victory in a March 29th presidential election.

Mr Tsvangirai won that poll but failed to win an outright majority.

Mr Tsvangirai refused to attend talks with Mr Mbeki and Mr Mugabe in Harare on the weekend because that would have endorsed the veteran Zimbabwean leader's disputed re-election.

Mr Tsvangirai accuses Mr Mbeki of favouring Mr Mugabe and has called for expanded mediation by the African Union.

Talks to resume between party leaders in Zimbabwe

mugabe is not the leader of zimbabwe as he has not won the last 4 elections. he stole them ashes been rigging the elections for the past 16 years. even in the last one mugave never ever won 40%of the votes. he wouldn’t have got even 10%. he cannot fool his own people by saying it’s Bush and Blair and Brown who’ve ruined the country. his so called partisans are paid to be there- a rented crowd. donations from international organisations are seized and given to mugabe’s party instead of the actual beneficiaries they are meant for. mugabe together with his army’s leaders and police’s leaders should be hauled off to the international court and tried for crime against humanity and genocide. Tsvangirai is the real leader of the zimbabwean people. as for mbeki he has betrayed the zimbabwean people and he will never be allowed to do that in his own country. hes betrayed his own people in a sense. unfortunately the world leaders are looking the other way. Tsvangirai should not get into talks with that monster
thank you

God is already starting to deal with Mgabe

Mugabe has caused troubles and problems that will forever haunt his family especially both the children forever. These crimes that he has committed will certainly affect them. It may not be now but certainly in the future. His family will certainly need more than redemption for them to enjoy life. Whatever his reasons, he will pay because God is not man that He should lie.

Coward

This Mugabe man is a coward, his family is well provided for yet millions of his subjects are dying not only from material need but because he is giving orders to have them exteminated. Even the will of the majority failed to move him, shame on you old man. Your people have no choice but to wait and wish that you die soon.

Mugabe is a plain dictator in all respect. No arguement about it. It is said and done.
