Canadian cops help deliver baby on roadside
Canada News.Net Thursday 8th May, 2008 (IANS)
Two Canadian policemen have helped a woman give birth on the roadside in Montreal.
The 35-year-old woman, who was travelling in a car with her husband, suddenly went into deep labour pains Wednesday morning.
Left with no option, the husband stopped a police patrol vehicle and sought help from its two officers.
With little time left to take her to hospital, the policemen called an ambulance. But the woman had already gone into advanced labour.
Losing no time, the officers got into the car and helped the woman give birth to a baby girl even before the ambulance could arrive.
The mother and daughter were later shifted to a hospital. As part of their first aid training, Canadian policemen are taught to handle such emergencies.

Your story is very vague. “A woman give birth on the roadside here” - Where is here? Canada is a big country!
